The Belle II workshop took place in Vienna from September 8-10!

The workshop Anomalies and Precision in the Belle II Era took place in Vienna from September 8 to 10, 2025. It brought together theorists and experimentalists to discuss the current state and future perspectives in flavor physics.

The main topics were stresses in B-meson decays and properties of leptons: which anomalies could be explained by refined measurements or theoretical improvements, which new anomalies had emerged. New or better observables were discussed - especially those that can be used by the Belle II experiment.

The aim was to assess the status quo of anomalies in different areas - e.g. B meson decays, lepton precision, and dark sector searches - and to find out whether a consistent picture or even hints of new physics are already visible. Particular emphasis was placed on "leaving no stone unturned": the aim was to check whether existing findings could be confirmed or whether alternative explanations were conceivable.

Dominik Suelmann, who gave a lecture on opportunities in c->ununu transitions , took part in the conference. He is available to answer any questions.
